The horrors of war seep through the sounds……

So, happy birthday Swamp! I have been sitting on this album for a while now, waiting for this night. Its totally one hell of an album. It also upholds my belief in MP3′s. Yes, I checked it out before ordering it, but that is the thing. I did order a copy and i never would have if i hadnt heard them first. The same goes for a large percentage of the cd’s in my cabinets. While they may only leave the cabinet a few times while i own them, i have spent the money in supporting these bands and would spend much more if any bands toured my way. I have been a member of this site for a year now, and at last count, have purchased upwards of 200 cd’s and t-shirts thanks to this blog. So, if the only goal of this blog was to help support and spread the word of some damn fine bands that dont get nearly the recognition they deserve, then job well done Cheeto and X-Angel. Here is to another 2 years and 200 albums i look forward to buying!
A Sunday Conversation with Venomin James
Our good buddies over at The Ripple Effect have posted an interview we finished awhile back. Give ‘er a read, and make sure to stop in and say “Hey!” to Racer and The Pope. Thanks, dudes.

Now, onto the interview.
Brutally heavy, doom-filled, devastating heavy metal. That’s what Venomin James brings to the table. Fueled by a rage that could only be created by the war machine, Venomin James’ new album, Left Hand Man, left an indelible mark on the ears of all at the Ripple Office. You can only imagine we were all too eager to share our red leather interview couch with the boys and hear what they have to say.
